Paradise!

Got out of the Somosomo anchorage in the morning. Wind was all over the map again, requiring motor sailing. Had full main up all the way, even though it was luffing much of the time. Tried to use the genny and got headed again.
Only took a couple of hours to travel down the shore of Taveuni to Paradise Resort. They had a guy in a kayak come out to greet us and guide us to moorings. What a relief after the past two days. Going to sleep well tonight.
Got sorted and went ashore. Now this is a place aptly named. Without a doubt the toniest resort Nick and I have seen on the trip. Beautiful setting. I forgot to bring my phone so no pics today. Registered with the owner (submit credit card, get the rules, etc.) and sat down for beers. What do they cost? Don't care. Bring another round. Pre-ordered the Indian special dinner for 6:30. When the sun went down it was actually cold and I went back out in the dinghy to retrieve Nick's fleece and my hoodie.
Dinner was good - very tasty. Nick wanted to go to the 'bakery' to order bread for tomorrow, so we asked one of the staff where it was. She guided us right to it through the warren of cottages that are the resort. Turns out they were having a birthday party there. So we walked into the party and I immediately started dancing with two Fijian girls. We had a good time while Nick went into the little store and ordered his bread. Good times.
Back to the boat and sleep.
